Lyrics

Woe to you who spoil and you were not spoiled You who deal treacherously and they didn’t deal treacherously with you

When you cease to spoil you shall be spoiled When you make an end to deal treacherously they will deal treacherously with you

O LORD be gracious to us we have waited for you Be our arm every morning also our salvation in the time of trouble

At the noise of the tumult the peoples fled At the lifting up of yourself the nations were scattered

Your spoil shall be gathered as the caterpillar gathers As locusts leap shall men leap on it The LORD is exalted for he dwells on high

He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness And the stability of your times shall be strength salvation wisdom knowledge

The fear of the LORD is his treasure Behold their valiant ones cry without The ambassadors of peace weep bitterly

Your highways lie waste The wayfaring man ceases The covenant is broken he has despised the cities He regards no man

Arise and be jealous for me The LORD is exalted He dwells on high
