Lyrics

Behold my servant whom I uphold My chosen one in whom my soul delights I have put my Spirit on him He will bring justice to the nations

He will not cry nor lift up his voice Nor cause it to be heard in the street A bruised reed he will not break

And a smoldering wick he will not quench He will faithfully bring justice He will not be dim or broken

Till he has set justice in the earth And the islands shall wait for his law Thus says the LORD God

He who created the heavens and stretched them out Who spread out the earth and what comes out of it Who gives breath to the people on it

I the LORD have called you in righteousness And will hold your hand and keep you I have given you as a covenant to the people

A light to the nations To open blind eyes To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who sit in darkness from the prison house

I will not give my glory to another My praise I will not share See the former things have come to pass
