Then Bildad the Shuhite answered How long will you say these things?
And the words of your mouth be like a mighty wind? Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert righteousness? If your children have sinned against him
And he has delivered them into the power of their transgression If you would seek God betimes And make your supplication to the Almighty If you were pure and upright
Surely now he would awake for you And make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous Though your beginning was small
How long will you say these things? How long will you say these things? If you would seek God betimes And make supplication to the Almighty
Yet your latter end would greatly increase For inquire, I pray you, of the former age And prepare yourself to the search of their fathers Shall not they teach you and tell you?
And utter words out of their heart Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the flag grow without water? Whilst it is yet in its greenness
How long will you say these things? How long will you say these things? So are the paths of all that forget God And the hope of the godless man shall perish
Whose confidence shall break in sunder And whose trust is a spider’s web He shall lean upon his house but it shall not stand He shall hold it fast but it shall not endure
