Lyrics

The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel I make Jerusalem a cup of reeling

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about Judah also shall be in the siege against Jerusalem In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire

I will open my eyes upon the house of Judah All the people of the earth against her I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock

In that day, says the LORD I will smite every horse with confusion His rider with madness The clans of Judah shall say in their hearts The inhabitants of Jerusalem are strong

The clans of Judah shall be as a torch of fire Among the wood and as a torch of fire in a sheaf And they shall devour all the peoples round about

They shall look upon me whom they have pierced They shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem

In that day shall there be a fountain opened to the house of David For sin and for uncleanness That they that weep may wash and be clean

The mourning shall turn to gladness
