Lyrics

Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Moab For four, I will not turn away its punishment

Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime But I will send a fire into Moab

Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Judah For four, I will not turn away its punishment Because they have rejected the law of the LORD

But I will send a fire into Judah It shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem

Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Israel For four, I will not turn away its punishment Because they have sold the righteous for silver

They trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth They crush the afflicted and push down the needy A man and his father go in to the same maiden

Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them Though his height was like the height of the cedars His strength was like the strength of the oaks

I also led you forty years through the wilderness To possess the land of the Amorites But you have rejected me The judgment stands
