Lyrics

Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you Children of Israel, against the whole family

You only have I known of all the families of the earth Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities Do two walk together unless they have agreed

Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey Does a young lion cry out from his den if he has caught nothing Will a bird fall in a snare on the earth if there is no trap

Shall a trumpet be blown in a city and the people not be afraid Does disaster happen to a city unless the LORD has done it

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing unless he reveals His secret to his servants the prophets The lion has roared, who will not fear

Proclaim in the palaces of Ashdod Proclaim in the palaces of Egypt Say, Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria

The stronghold will be in the day of visitation Samaria shall be broken to pieces The altars of Bethel shall be cut off

The great house shall be broken into fragments The small house into pieces I will strike the winter house with the summer house The houses of ivory shall be destroyed
