Then he brought me to the temple And measured the posts six cubits broad on one side And six cubits broad on the other side Which was the breadth of the tent
The breadth of the entrance ten cubits The sides of the entrance were five cubits on one side And five cubits on the other side He measured the length of the building eighty cubits
And the breadth twenty cubits Before the temple was the place that was left open The building that was before the separate place was one hundred cubits
And the altar in front of the house The length of the sanctuary was sixty cubits The breadth twenty cubits He said to me this is the most holy place
There were side chambers all around The breadth of each chamber was four cubits And the breadth of the building was five cubits Every chamber was two stories one over another and thirty in order
The walls of the side chambers on the outside Were not joined to the wall of the house But there was a space left and the thickness of the wall Of the temple was the same thickness on the inside
And he measured the length of the building From the eastern side chambers to the western side chambers An hundred cubits
The eastern entrance was from the eastern outer court And he measured the walls of the building And the building itself was a perfect square The sanctuary and the inner place and the outer porch
All were overlaid with wood round about And the floor was wooden round about Cherubim and palm trees were made on the walls
