What we keep, and why.

No ads, no data brokers, no selling. Questions and deletion requests go to hello@50days.io.

If you only listen

We keep first-party usage counts: which pages and chapters are played, when, from what kind of referral, under a random identifier stored in your browser. There is no advertising tracker and no third-party analytics script. The identifier is not linked to you unless you sign in.

If you sign in

We store your email address, a session cookie, and the things you make: playlists, journal entries, kept verses, and listening positions. Journal entries are private to you. We do not read them except to fix a problem you ask us to fix.

If you become a Patron

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your email, the plan, and the amount, and we keep a record of that so we can honour your subscription. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what Stripe holds.

If you ask for email

The daily psalm and "tell me when this chapter is sung" are opt-in. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Patrons receive a welcome email and, rarely, news about the mission. We do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.

Who else touches the data

Cloudflare hosts the site and the database. Stripe processes payments. Resend delivers our email. Each is bound by its own privacy terms, and none is permitted to use your data for anything but providing that service to us.

How long

Account data is kept while your account exists. Usage counts are kept as aggregate history. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Write to hello@50days.io from the address you signed in with and we will send you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Deletion removes your account, journal, playlists, and positions; it does not undo payments already made. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Children

The site is for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Accounts require an email address; a parent who wants a child's data removed can write to us.

Changes

The date at the top changes when this page does. Material changes are announced by email to signed-in users.
